About Academia

Academia consist of SGH’s Pathology services as well as the Ngee Ann Kongsi Discovery Tower, which houses SingHealth’s research laboratories, education and training facilities.

The building offers a more conducive environment for greater synergies in pathology, medical research and education to raise the benchmarks for better healthcare. Located within the vicinity of the clinical services at SGH Campus and Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, the Academia is a key milestone in academic medicine with a vibrant environment for networking and professional collaborations to advance diagnosis, treatment and innovative care for patients.

Getting Here

1. By Car
   We recommend that you park at either National Heart Centre Singapore or Carpark H.
2. By Train / MRT (Mass Rapid Transit)
   The nearest station to SGH is Outram Park MRT Station. There are three lines connected: Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL), North East Line (NE) and East West Line (EW). Shuttle services are available at both MRT stations to ferry patients to the different hospital and institutions in SGH Campus.
3. By Bus
   We recommend that you alight at the following bus stop:
   06029 – Outram Pk Stn Exit 1: Bus Services 33, 63, 121, 122, 174, 174e, 851, 970
4. By Shuttle Service
   SGH has 3 shuttle bus services travelling between the different institutions and car parks around SGH Campus. The Campus Shuttle Service (Orange and Blue Route) travels between the different institutions and 2 MRT stations. The Car Park (H) Shuttle Service (Green) travels between opposite SGH Block 7, Car park H (Multi-storey & Open Car Park) located at Macalister Road and Outram Community Hospital / SingHealth Tower.

We recommend that you take either the Orange Shuttle Service or Green Shuttle Service.
