Welcome Message from SSA President

The Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists is proud to collaborate again with the Singapore Anaesthesia Refresher Course (SARC) in conjunction with the KK Hospital Obstetric Anaesthesia Symposium. The SARC held every 2 years is certainly a highlight in the Singapore Anaesthesia community where there is robust exchange of medical knowledge, acquisition of skills in workshops and a great time networking with colleagues and friends across the hospitals.

In this edition, Dr Shariq Khan (SARC), Dr Cheng Shang Ming (KKH) and the organising committee comprising of representatives from the anaesthesia departments are putting together a comprehensive anaesthesia programme. SARC promises to be filled with overseas and local speaker experts in their subspecialty fields, plenary and track sessions, pre-conference workshops and educational track sessions for residents and juniors. In recent years, the SARC has expanded on its reach in attracting overseas delegates and this will continue with global health, sustainability and multidisciplinary focus topics close to the hearts of anaesthetists.
